My career originally was in finance. I worked at two brokerage firms, Charles Schwab and Vanguard. Before I those institutions, I worked at the online payment processing service, PayPal. While working at Vanguard, I began editing in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects. I worked on video projects for Vanguard and studied photography daily while attending seminars and acquiring mentors. For a long time, pursuing professional photography full-time felt like it was just a bit of a fantasy. But, as I was transitioning to another firm, I decided that it would be much more fulfilling to pursue my passion as a photographer. I’m a strong believer in investing in one’s future, whether it be time, energy, or money. Because of this value, I made the decision to invest myself in a craft I love and am truly passionate about.
What I Do
I provide a number of professional photography services in Phoenix, including portrait, commercial, and editorial photography. My work for each service is available for viewing on each of the respective service pages. My aim is to provide a wide range of options that are both affordable and high-quality, allowing me to cater to a diverse audience with unique needs. I believe that this flexibility makes me one of the best photographers in Phoenix, as I provide my clients with value and attention to detail that they won’t find anywhere else.
I also consider myself unique when it comes to editing. In addition to portraits, editorial, and commercial photography, I provide a range of photo editing options that allow you to further customize your shoot. Depending on your needs, I can edit and touch up your photos in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to create unique, one-of-a-kind images.
As far as my professional photography style is concerned, I typically describe my style as dramatic, true to color, and vibrant. I work quickly and efficiently to provide my clients with stunning photographs, always working to impress and exceed expectations. Depending on the season, my average turnaround time for an initial set of images is three business days. I start by editing the images with Adobe Lightroom to ensure that they meet my minimum quality standards, and then I follow-up with Adobe Photoshop to further touch up and edit the client’s favorite images.
I use a Canon 5D Mark IV and have the Canon 6D as a backup or for use in video projects. My vlogs tend to shed light on my personal life, friends, and family. As far as lenses go, I use the Canon 70-200mm f2.8, Canon 50mm F1.2, and the Canon 16-35mm F2.8 USM III.
